This recognition means the hospital voluntarily completed, affirmed and submitted every section of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, giving our communities greater access to information about our safety and quality practices.

Hospital safety is top of mind for families across Western North Carolina. We believe trust begins with openness about the work we are doing to protect every patient.

AdventHealth Hendersonville and AdventHealth Polk have earned the 2026 Full Transparency Badge from The Leapfrog Group. This recognition means both hospitals voluntarily completed, affirmed and submitted every section of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, giving our communities greater access to information about our safety and quality practices.

The badge is not an additional safety grade. It demonstrates our commitment to publicly sharing information, holding ourselves accountable and continually strengthening the systems that support safe, high-quality care.

This commitment is also reflected in AdventHealth Hendersonville’s 20 consecutive “A” Hospital Safety Grades from The Leapfrog Group.

The Hospital Foundation was very excited to represent AdventHealth Polk when David Blake 🇮🇪 and Conblue struck gold in the $120,000 AdventHealth Polk Grand Prix CSI3*. It was exciting to see the AdventHealth Polk jump as the final hurtle on the short track.

Purvi Patel, RN, is a nurse on the Medical Surgical unit at AdventHealth Polk. We are honoring her for the thoughtful care she brings to one of the most important steps in patient care: medication histories. Her attention to detail helps ensure each patient’s medication list is captured accurately and thoroughly, giving the pharmacy team the information they need to move forward with confidence. Just as important, her responsiveness when questions come up makes the process smoother for everyone involved.
