For those of you who have been waiting for news, Dr. Schaefer's daughter, Elliana, had her sedated echocardiogram before her scheduled surgery and the impossible has happened! Her numbers have IMPROVED and Boston has CANCELED the surgery! They haven't gone as far as to say she will never need another surgery, but as of right now, she is in the clear. Dr. Schaefer and his family want to thank everyone who has been praying and thinking of them during this incredibly stressful time. They are going to head home soon, but plan to continue to be off for the next week to celebrate as a family and try to decompress from what has been a very long 3 months of anticipating another open heart procedure. Thank you all!

Development of low back pain can oftentimes be complex and a lot of things are blamed for the onset of pain. Avoiding mobility due to desk jobs, hobbies, and daily living and tasks can play a part in pain. Motion is lotion! A decrease in function can snowball into something bigger. Chiropractic restores motion in joints that are not moving properly and we couple that with massage and active rehab for longer lasting effects. If you want to experience the change chiropractic can make for you, reach out to our office!

1. Lower Back Pain: Numerous studies have demonstrated that chiropractic adjustments can be an effective option for treating lower back pain. In fact, the American College of Physicians recommends spinal manipulation as a first-line treatment for acute lower back pain.

2. Neck Pain: Research has shown that chiropractic care can help reduce neck pain and improve function. A systematic review published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics found that spinal manipulative therapy is a safe and effective option for managing neck pain.

3. Headaches: If you suffer from tension headaches or migraines, chiropractic care might offer relief. Studies have suggested that spinal manipulation can lead to a reduction in both the frequency and intensity of headaches.

If you have any questions about chiropractic care or want to learn more about how it can benefit you, don't hesitate to reach out. Your health and well-being are our top priorities!
