🌟 Meet the Team: Harrison Morton, Business Development Representative 🌟

At OHP, we believe strong partnerships create stronger outcomes for the patients and families we serve. Today, we’re proud to spotlight Harrison Morton, one of our dedicated Business Development Representatives.

For the past two years, Harrison has been committed to building meaningful, collaborative relationships with referral partners throughout the community. His approach goes beyond business—he values genuine connections, open communication, and understanding the unique challenges and goals of each partner he works with.

“I value building strong, collaborative relationships with referral partners to ensure the patients they encounter receive the support they need to improve their lives and the lives of their families. I also appreciate the opportunity to connect on a personal level and engage in meaningful conversations beyond day-to-day work.”

Harrison is passionate about serving patients while acting as an extension of the teams he partners with. His goal is not only to represent OHP but to help make the day-to-day responsibilities of healthcare professionals easier through reliable support, responsiveness, and teamwork.

When connecting with referral partners, Harrison prefers a personalized approach: a phone call first, followed by a text message, and then an email—ensuring communication is both effective and convenient.

Thank you, Harrison, for your dedication to strengthening partnerships, supporting patient care, and living out OHP’s commitment to excellence every day.

PTSD is real, and healing is possible. This awareness month, we stand with those who carry invisible wounds, honoring their strength, amplifying their stories, and reminding them they are not alone. Support, understanding, and hope can make all the difference.

Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry was honored to participate in the NAMI Franklin County Walk alongside our sister facilities, Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital and Mount Carmel Behavioral Health Hospital.

It was a wonderful morning spent supporting mental health awareness, connecting with community members, and sharing information about the services and resources available to those in need. Events like these highlight the power of collaboration and our shared commitment to promoting mental wellness throughout our community.

A special thank you to Fishen with a Mission for providing an amazing fish fry that made the event even more memorable!

We are grateful to everyone who attended, supported the walk, and helped make the day a success. Together, we continue to strengthen awareness, reduce stigma, and build a healthier community for all.

It’s also a reminder that many in the LGBTQ+ community are still navigating challenges that deserve compassion, support, and action. This month and every month, let’s show up for each other by listening, uplifting, and creating spaces where everyone can feel safe, valued, and cared for. 🌈💛

When was the last time you checked in on your mental health?

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage you to give yourself permission to pause and put your well-being first. Mental healthcare isn’t one-size-fits-all—what matters most is taking steps that feel right for you, whether that’s starting a conversation, seeking professional support, or simply acknowledging how you’re feeling. You deserve care, understanding, and support every step of the way.
