The limbic system is a group of interconnected brain structures that play a crucial role in emotions, memory, and motivation. Three key components of the limbic system are the amygdala, hippocampus, and pre-frontal cortex. Together, they have a powerful role in storing emotional memories, especially in response to fear, chronic/high stress, and anxiety.

When the brain is overwhelmed (like during or after trauma and chronic stress), communication between key brain areas like the amygdala, hippocampus, and prefrontal cortex can become disrupted.

Chiropractic adjustments remove interference in the nervous system to support the body’s ability to heal and regulate itself. Correcting subluxations within the spine address issues of Central Nervous System dysregulation and dysautonomia.
