It's important to practice communication skills outside of the therapy room. AAC Connections celebrated the end of the summer semester with an ice cream social! We used all of our communication strategies to order ice cream, chat with one another, and have some fun!

OSU Flaum Center for Stuttering clients hit the road to Chicago this past weekend to attend the FRIENDS stuttering conference. It was a weekend filled with fun, empowerment, stutter affirming messages, and new friends!!!

Nadine Whiteman attended and participated in the Inaugural Ultra-SLP Conference, held at the University of Cincinnati. The conference presenters shared information regarding use of ultrasound biofeedback for articulation, as well as swallowing intervention. The conference was amazing with so much information presented by numerous researchers and clinicians!
