Dear Patient,
We are writing to share some important updates about our team at Eye Physicians, PC.
We are excited to welcome optometrists Dr. Jacob Romero and Dr. Beau Weinheimer to our practice. Both doctors share our commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality eye
care to patients throughout our communities.
Dr. Jacob Romero provides comprehensive eye care for patients at our Columbus and Fullerton locations. His services include routine eye examinations, glasses and contact lens care, and the diagnosis and management of eye disease.
Dr. Beau Weinheimer has also joined the Eye Physicians team, caring for patients at our Columbus and David City locations. He provides comprehensive eye care, including routine eye examinations, glasses and contact lens care, and the diagnosis and management of eye disease. Our David City office was recently remodeled, and we invite you to stop in and take a look.
With the addition of our new providers, Dr. Langan and Dr. Meyer will be seeing patients five days a week at our Norfolk location. They will no longer see patients in Columbus.
Dr. Mark Emig retired on September 30, 2026, and will no longer see patients at Eye Physicians, PC. We are grateful for the specialized retinal care he provided to our patients and wish him all the best.
Our ophthalmologists, Dr. Luke Tomczak and Dr. Brandon Menke, will continue to provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. They treat a wide range of eye conditions and perform cataract, glaucoma, eyelid, and vision-correction procedures.
Dr. Tomczak and Dr. Menke also manage macular degeneration and diabetic eye care, including injections at our Columbus and Norfolk locations. Together with our optometrists, they will continue to ensure you receive comprehensive and coordinated eye care.
We understand that changes in your healthcare team may raise questions. Your eye health remains our priority, and we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.
