Few weeks ago, I arrived in Portugal with 6 others from my church after an overnight flight. We spent the week on a short-term mission trip, supporting a missionary couple in Lisbon. It was such a blessing to get to know the city, connect with the people there, and come alongside the work they're doing.

Portugal is such a colorful and beautiful place, and we were blessed with perfect weather while we were there.

Forever grateful for the opportunity to serve, learn, and experience this week together. Looking back, it's a trip I'll remember for a long time. 💙

One of the biggest drivers of high cortisol isn’t just daytime stress. It’s what happens at night.

I noticed that if my evenings are filled with screens, stimulation, and rushing, my body never fully gets the signal that it’s safe to slow down.

Over time, that keeps cortisol higher than it should be at night which REALLY affects sleep quality, recovery, and even next-day energy.

Stress doesn’t always show up the way we expect.
