I still can’t believe I was asked to be part of this incredible resource for so many looking for support and care. My passion for supporting EDS and HSD started in 2015 during my first conference. It was then I started to connect the dots for myself and for so many others. Over the past 11 years I’ve grown as an Occupational Therapist, hand therapist, and Craniosacral therapy by developing more skills to help support this community.
As a patient, I was also told that I was being dramatic, that I was a healthy young person, that it was all in my head, that it was just anxiety. I’m so grateful to be on this side of the journey where I can be part of making a difference.
So much more to come and I can’t wait to continue meeting others who are passionate about supporting EDS, MCAS, POTS, HSD, and so many other under recognized diagnosis.
Thank you to Maggie Buckley for considering me to be part of her community and for EDS Connective for making this incredible resource available to so many.
