Building something real comes with challenges — and sometimes with people questioning things they don’t fully understand.

When you run a professional business and work with third-party systems, reviews and approvals can take time. That is a normal part of operating correctly and responsibly.

Melanin Rootz Healin LLC will always choose doing things the right way over the fast way.

Services are temporarily closed while certain processes are being handled and reviewed. I appreciate the patience and support from those who truly respect the work and the vision.

Let me also be clear: I do not control third-party companies or their timelines. Any processes handled through them are outside of my control.

Because of that, I will not tolerate accusations about me “stealing” anything. My business is built on integrity, professionalism, and transparency.

Healing takes time. Building something meaningful takes time too. 🌿✨

I’ll be temporarily closing my books to focus on my health and well-being. I truly believe you can’t pour from an empty cup, and right now I need to rest, reset, and take care of me the way I encourage all of you to do.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your continued support. This isn’t goodbye — just a pause. I’ll be back stronger, healthier, and ready to give you my absolute best.

Note to Self :
Breathe. 🧘🏾‍♀️ It’s going to be okay, my love. Everything is slowly but surely aligning in your favor. ✨

I am human before I am a professional. If my health isn’t at its best, nothing else can be either. I refuse to feel guilty for prioritizing my well-being. Anyone who truly values my work will understand that I can only pour from a full cup.

I work seven days a week with no days off. I balance school, another full-time job, and running my business independently. I average five hours of sleep and still show up. That is not failure — that is resilience.

When someone says, “Learn how to run a business,” I remind myself: I have successfully run one on my own for a year while being a student and maintaining another job. That is strength. That is discipline. That is growth.
And yes — I am still learning. I am a student in school and a student of life. I will become ten times better with time, experience, and rest.
I release guilt. I choose balance. I choose health.
And I am doing a damn good job. 💛

When I say I am having bad stomach issues and you want a massage still. You are going to smell some sh. Acid reflux is part of what I’m dealing with right now. This one main reason, I’ve cancelled the appointments. All jokes aside, I’ll have a mask on but I can’t help it at the moment.
