💙 MEET THE TEAM: CHAD, DIRECTOR OF NURSING 💙

We’re excited to have Chad on our team here at Taylor Station! With 29 years of experience across various areas of healthcare, Chad brings a wealth of knowledge—and a genuine passion for caring for others.

He believes in putting each patient at the center of their care, taking the time to truly get to know them and supporting their social, emotional, and spiritual well-being throughout their healthcare journey.

Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife of 26 years, their three children, and their pup, Stella! He also loves gardening, playing bocce at his local Italian club, relaxing in the Dominican Republic, and—of course—showing off his best “dad dance” at his kids’ annual recitals. 😊

Construction is officially COMPLETE, and now our interior design team is hard at work putting the finishing touches on our beautiful state-of-the-art skilled nursing community!

It’s exciting to watch each space come together as we prepare to open our doors and begin welcoming our first patients within the next few weeks. 💙

🔅Introducing our Administrator, KACY!🔅

Kacy has worked in long-term care for more than 35 years and has served as an Administrator for the past six years. Her connection to nursing homes began when she was around five years old, spending time there while her mother worked as a nurse, so her love for serving the elderly has been with her for many years.
Over the years, Kacy has worked in every department within a facility, and has appreciated each role. That experience has shown her that every department plays an important part in creating a successful, caring, and supportive environment.
Kacy believes there is no greater gift than serving others, and it is truly a blessing to serve the elderly. She strives to lead by the Golden Rule “treat others the way you want to be treated”.
She wants families to feel relief and trust knowing their loved ones are receiving compassionate, high-quality care.
One of the things Kacy loves most about long-term care is talking with residents and hearing their life stories.
She is excited to build a team grounded in compassion, empathy, and love—one that creates a safe, welcoming place where residents receive the best care we can provide. She is looking forward to serving our residents, families, and staff at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, Taylor Station.

Taylor Station Health & Rehabilitation is excited to introduce Maurice, our Admissions & Marketing Director!

Maurice has been a proud member of the Optalis Healthcare family for nearly three years and brings five years of skilled nursing experience, along with an impressive 13 years of management, marketing, and sales experience.

For Maurice, healthcare is much more than a career—it’s an opportunity to make a difference. His passion for helping others inspired him to enter the healthcare field, where he can support patients and families as they navigate important decisions regarding their skilled nursing and rehabilitation needs.

That passion for caring extends beyond the workplace. Outside of work, Maurice helps care for his 85-year-old grandmother and helps raise his 10-year-old brother. When he has some downtime, you can usually find him enjoying a sunny beach or spending quality time with his friends and family. ☀️🏖️

☕ Fun Fact: Maurice runs on Starbucks coffee and Pepsi Zero! There’s rarely a day when he doesn’t have a cup of coffee in his hand or a Pepsi sitting on his desk. 😄

Maurice is incredibly excited to help introduce the community to the Optalis Healthcare difference and looks forward to welcoming residents and their families through the doors of our beautiful new Taylor Station Health & Rehabilitation.

Today, our directors and corporate team rolled up our sleeves and put in some serious work moving in our brand-new beds and continuing to get everything set up!

Slowly but surely, everything is coming together as we prepare to welcome our first patients to Taylor Station Health & Rehabilitation. 🏥

🎉 EXCITING NEWS — WE’RE GETTING CLOSER TO OPENING! 🎉

We are extremely excited to announce that Taylor Station Health & Rehabilitation is expected to open in early September to welcome our first residents! 🏡

With each passing day and week, we are getting closer to opening the doors of our brand-new, state-of-the-art skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, proudly serving the Gahanna, Blacklick, and East Columbus communities.

Whether you or a loved one is looking for short-term rehabilitation or long-term care, we look forward to providing exceptional, compassionate care in our beautiful new environment.

Our brand-new, state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility will feature:

Every detail is being thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, quality care, and an exceptional experience for our future residents and their families.
