✨ Sorry for the long post, but this milestone warrants it! ✨
This past week, Skintalk turned 3 years old! ❤️🔥
I’ve been kind of absent from posting lately, but honestly, I’d rather have our conversations here be of true value than post just for the sake of it. As a solo practitioner, I have to weigh where my time is spent most efficiently, and I think many of you would agree that making time in the treatment room should come before making time for social media. 🥰
I’m incredibly grateful for this community, and these past few years have taught me a lot!
I would say my biggest inner battle this past year has been finding the balance between my old sense of self and where I want this practice to go. The education I’ve been lucky enough to experience has changed my treatment process on so many levels—as many of you can surely tell. Bodywork is such a unique tool, but no matter what changes in the treatment room, the thought I have at the front of every treatment is that I will always, always, want the best outcome for you.
For those of you who have been with me since the beginning of my bodywork career, you know just how much things have changed. It has taken years to find what works well in treatment while also learning how to take care of my own body so I can continue taking care of yours.
So many of you have been open to trying new methods, and for that I am incredibly grateful. Your willingness to explore, trust the process, and learn about your own body has helped me grow as a provider and has shaped your treatments into what they are today.
There have been so many amazing experiences, conversations, connections, and honestly… so much love since opening my private practice.
Thank you for choosing to be here.
Thank you for choosing me to be part of this chapter in your healing journey.
Even through all the waves of change, my priority has always remained the same: making this work the very best it can be for you.
Thank you for being here, thank you for listening, and know that I have so much love and gratitude for all of you.
Here’s to many more years of growth! ❤️🔥🧡
With so much love,
Arleta & Gwennie 🐾
