This past Saturday, I couldn't have been more proud of our Overcomers Running Group.
Watching our runners cross the finish line was about so much more than completing a race. I watched people fulfill goals they once thought were impossible. I saw them confidently share their recovery journeys with complete strangers along the course. I watched teammates run one another into the finish, refusing to let anyone finish alone.
Some of these runners have overcome homelessness, incarceration, addiction, and countless other obstacles. Yet on this day, they weren't defined by their past—they were defined by their perseverance.
One of the most powerful moments was hearing children tell their parents, "I'm so proud of you." Those words carried more weight than any race medal ever could.
After the race, several participants shared something I'll never forget: "It's nice to know people actually do care."
That's what this group is about. Yes, we run. But more importantly, we restore hope, build community, create accountability, and remind people that their story isn't over. Every finish line they cross is another step away from addiction and another step toward the life they were created to live.
A special thank you to the TBDBITL 5K for hosting such a fun, welcoming, and inviting race. Your event gave our runners an opportunity to celebrate recovery, accomplish personal goals, and experience the encouragement of a supportive community. We truly appreciate your hospitality.

Our Reynoldsburgh facility is going at it again... They had a successful makeup day for their legendary KICKBALL GAME and cookout, which included an all dressed umpire (Todd)! We go hard in the paint! ❤️🥳💥

Good Friday Morning Central Ohio :) I want to share something with you that helps me manage my life...
