Services Provided by North Central include:

Elder Focus - An array of mental health and recovery services focused on the needs of persons age 60 and over. Family Focus - Outpatient clinic based mental health and chemical dependence treatment services for children, adolescents, families and adults. Recovery Support - A broad range of services for persons working to achieve the highest level of rec

overy possible from the effects of severe and persistent mental illness. Recovery Assistance - Support for persons requiring coordination of their services and for others requiring minimal assistance in their recovery journey. Intensive Recovery - A range of more intense team based services offer to those whose recovery from mental illness and/or addiction is more strongly challenged. Transitional Teams - Team based services for young persons with serious difficulties that began in youth or adolescence and who will likely need significant support to achieve either transition to the adult system or a level of recovery sufficient enough to permit them to leave the treatment system. Community Teams - Team based recovery oriented services designed to assist adult consumers to achieve and maintain successful living in the community. Dual Disorders - Team based services for adults recovering from the effects of both severe/persistent mental illness and addiction. Residential Services - A variety of housing options for adults with severe/persistent mental illness, addiction or both. Suicide Prevention - North Central operates the largest 988 call center in the State of Ohio for persons who are suicidal or enduring an emotional crisis 24/7/365. Prevention and Education - Educating the community about mental health issues and working with other community organizations to enhance the quality of life in Franklin County. Psychiatry - Assessment, consultation and treatment by trained physicians and nurses.

After 26 years of incredible dedication, compassion and service, Deborah Feidler, LSW, has announced her retirement from North Central Mental Health Services, Inc. While we are sad to see her go, we are immensely grateful for the profound impact she has made on our organization, our clients and our community.

For nearly three decades, Debbie has been a cornerstone of our team and managed our ADAMH Services location. Her unwavering commitment to mental health advocacy and client care has transformed countless lives. Her deep empathy and steady guidance have supported our clients through their most challenging moments.

Debbie’s last day with North Central Mental Health Services will be July 24. Please join us in thanking her for 26 years of exemplary service and wishing her a joyful, relaxing and well-deserved retirement!

Our mobile vaccination clinic vehicle will be out in the community two more times in July, so get your students the vaccines they need to have a healthy and safe school year soon!

We'll be at Columbus Metropolitan Library locations in Reynoldsburg (1402 Brice Road) on July 17th and Hilliard (4500 Hickory Chase Way) on July 24th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on both days!

Did you know that Ohio offers rental assistance specifically designed to help eligible adults with disabilities live independently in their communities?

Through the OHIO811 program, eligible Ohioans may have access to:
✅ Rental assistance
✅ Supportive services
✅ Integrated community living

And more. The program serves adults ages 18-61 with disabilities who qualify for Medicaid or certain Medicaid waivers. Individuals must work with an approved referral partner to join the waiting list.

At the close of Fiscal Year 2025:
✅ 411 households were successfully leased.
✅ More than 300 additional units are in the pipeline.
