I wanted to be a veterinarian and attend WSU. I worked hard for my 3.2 GPA in highschool, I went before school for tutoring and stayed after to finish exams and recieve extra help. In my first semester of WSU I FLUNKED every exam because I was given an hour and could not finish my exams...I was tested for ADD midway through and by second semester I was alloted the 3 hour test taking times and finished strong. But I had lost my scholarships...So, I took a year off finding a job in Caregiving. It was hard work but I enjoyed it, serving and caring for the elderly felt like giving back to the community. My client needed a haircut and wanted to go where it was cheap, so HairSchool it was. We zoomed over in my little 89 Jeep Comanche truck and as my elderly client got a hair trim I stepped over to the Moscow Massage school next door. I walked in and something felt right. I never thought Massaging was a career, even though my job as a Kennel Cleaner at the Veterinarians at 16, I was massaging all the Veterinarians shoulders and they told me I would be great at it! Theres that feeling of Peace, where God gives you this open door, and even though I Did NOT believe in God at the time... I look back and am SO grateful. I signed up for school 1 week before it started and it has been a blessing ever since. They taught me i was a kinesthetic learner and needed more writing, visuals, and movement to learn. Why couldnt they teach us that in elementary?! Either way I am so grateful for this reminder of what God can do even when you have little faith.
Matthew 17:20
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
