An Erbium laser peel (aka laser resurfacing) works by removing damaged outer layers of skin while stimulating collagen production underneath. Think of it like hitting the refresh button on your skin. ✨

💋 Before & After + Lip Filler Myth Busting

One of the biggest concerns I hear is, "I don't want to just keep adding more filler."

Here's what we've learned over the last several years: newer imaging studies using ultrasound and MRI have shown that hyaluronic acid filler can sometimes still be present years after treatment—in some cases, much longer than we used to think. So the idea that it completely disappears in 6–12 months isn't always true.

What does happen is that your lips naturally change over time. The filler can soften, settle, and lose some of the structure and support that gave you that fresh, hydrated look when it was first injected.

That's why maintenance appointments aren't always about making your lips bigger. More often, they're about maintaining the shape, definition, and hydration you already love. Sometimes that means adding a little filler, sometimes it means leaving them alone, and sometimes it even means dissolving and starting fresh.

Every set of lips is different, which is why I never take a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is always the same: lips that look balanced, healthy, and like they belong on you. 🤍

One thing I wish more people knew about lip filler... it's not always about making your lips bigger.

Most lip fillers are made with hyaluronic acid, which is something your body already naturally produces. One of the coolest things about it is that it attracts and holds onto water, so it can make your lips look more hydrated, smooth, and healthy-looking—not just fuller.

A lot of my clients come in saying their lips always feel dry or they've started noticing little lines in them. Hyaluronic acid filler can help improve the overall look and feel of the lips by adding hydration, restoring volume that's been lost over time, and giving the lips a little more definition.

Every set of lips I do is customized to the person sitting in my chair. Some want a noticeable pout, some just want to look like they drink enough water. 😂 And honestly? I love both.
