Kids First is thrilled to welcome Viridiana Valdez as the newest member of the Board of Directors!

Viridiana Valdez earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Denver and is the founder and managing attorney of Valdez Law LLC, where she represents individuals and families in immigration matters with a focus on humanitarian relief, family-based immigration, and removal defense. She is dedicated to expanding access to quality legal services and empowering clients through compassionate advocacy and community education.

Through her work, Viridiana has seen firsthand how access to healthcare, legal stability, and community resources can profoundly impact the well-being of children and families. She regularly collaborates with nonprofit organizations and community partners to provide legal education and resources to underserved populations. She believes that strong communities are built through collaboration, equity, and service. As a member of the Kids First Health Board of Directors, she is honored to contribute her legal expertise and commitment to improving outcomes for children and families throughout Colorado.

The school-based health center inside BHS is a pediatric medical office that provides integrated health care services to all BHS students!

It's totally fine if you already have a doctor - this is simply another way to ensure students are staying healthy with convenient access to high quality medical and mental health care during the school day.
