Today, the WOH4L team stepped onto our home turf at Ford Field for something much bigger than football. We teamed up with the American Heart Association and Detroit Lions to get certified in CPR and AED training.🏈❤️

It only took a few minutes out of our day. But those few minutes could mean a lifetime for someone else in an emergency.⏰

Saving a life doesn't always require a cape. Sometimes, it just takes the courage to learn.🦸

Thank you, Pastor Clara Mitchell and the entire WHPR team, for taking the time to highlight the important work that Ari and Avery Schwartz are doing through their involvement with Words of Hope 4 Life and as active members of the larger community. It was invigorating to see them share the impact of their involvement and the connections it facilitates.

It also helped spotlight just how pivotal and impactful it is for youth to be active participants in their communities, investing in something greater than themselves and considering the well-being of others when making decisions. Their involvement is not only improving the lives of others in countless, sometimes unforeseeable ways, but it is also enriching their own futures. It is aiding them to better locate and explore opportunities that might not have been available otherwise, and helping to shape the next generation of community leaders.

At Words of Hope 4 Life, we believe no one should have to face life's most difficult moments alone.

Through our Kindness Initiative, we are currently supporting an individual in our community who is facing an urgent medical crisis and needs immediate, life-saving cancer surgery. Out of respect for their privacy, we will not be sharing their identity, but we are asking our community to come together to support them.
