Senior Spotlight: Camryn Bladzik 🚨

Camryn came to us this past fall to get ready for her senior soccer season at Milford. We have enjoyed working with Camryn and getting to know her both as an athlete and as a person. Throughout her time at Athletic Republic, her consistency, discipline, and effort in every training session were evident, and that hard work paid off during her final season as a Maverick. During her senior year, Camryn earned:

🏆All-State Academic
🏆All-LVC First Team, All-District
🏆Maverick of the Year
🏆LVC Scholar Athlete
🏆4-Year Varsity Award

This fall, Camryn will continue her academic and athletic career at Cornerstone University, where she plans to study Exercise Science.

"AR has helped me by improving my strength, speed, and agility. Helped teach me more about our bodies and how to correctly fuel and take care of them. Helped me survive two knee injuries with no ACL tears."

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT: This one is very special to us 💪

After battling through an ACL tear and revision surgery, Grant H.’s comeback story is one we’re incredibly proud to be a part of. Grant joined our Return-To-Play Bridge Program during the winter months as he geared up for his spring track season.

Since graduating from our RTP Bidge Program, Grant killed it this season at Walled Lake Western. He qualified for the state meet as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team and continued to raise the bar all year long. He recorded personal records in the 4x100 relay and his individual split in the 4x400 relay, helping Walled Lake Western break the school record while earning his eighth PR of the season.

Congratulations, Grant! Your hard work has paid off, and we’re excited to see what’s next.

Earlier this week, we had the chance to celebrate Lyla T.’s senior night at Walled Lake Northern! We’re incredibly proud of all the hard work she’s put in and excited to see what’s ahead as she continues her academic and athletic career at the University of Toledo.

Congratulations, Lyla! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

Over the weekend, we made it out to the MHSAA Regional Meet at Milford and watched several of our athletes in action on the blocks.

State qualifiers included:
• Kira H. — 200-meter final
• Michael V. — 4x200-meter relay and 4x400-meter relay
• Grant H. — 4x400-meter relay; also recorded personal records in the 4x100 relay and individual split in the 4x400 relay, helping Walled Lake Western break the school record while earning his eighth PR of the season
• Ciana C. — 400 meters
• Bralynn J. — 100-meter hurdles and 100-meter sprint
• Griffin B. — first place in the 100 meters
• Wendell C. — first place in the 800 meters

Special recognition also goes to Avery C., Mia V., Ella S., and Cameron A. for their performances throughout the meet.

Congratulations to all athletes on a successful weekend, and best of luck to those competing at the State Meet!
