🎉⚡ POWER IS BACK ON! ⚡🎉

We are excited to share that power has been fully restored at The Avalon of Commerce Township!

While we're certainly grateful to have the lights back on, this experience reminded us just how special our community truly is. Throughout the outage, our residents remained positive, our families were incredibly supportive, and our team members went above and beyond to ensure everyone remained safe, comfortable, and engaged.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated associates, residents, families, and community partners, including PARC and Premier Hospice, who helped make the past few days a success. Your kindness, teamwork, and unwavering support made all the difference.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the emergency responders and the hardworking DTE Energy crews who worked tirelessly around the clock to restore power to our community and surrounding area. We appreciate your dedication, commitment, and service.

The generator performed beautifully, spirits stayed high, and together we turned an unexpected challenge into an opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our Avalon family.

Today, we're celebrating being back to normal and, more importantly, celebrating the incredible people who came together every step of the way. 💙

🌟 Community Update from The Avalon of Commerce Township

While we continue to experience a power outage in the area, we're happy to share that our community is doing great.

Our generator continues to operate smoothly, residents are comfortable, meals and activities are continuing, and the positive spirit throughout the building has been truly inspiring.

Most importantly, we've seen firsthand what makes The Avalon special: caring team members, supportive families, wonderful residents, and community partners all coming together.

Sometimes challenges remind us just how strong a community can be. We're grateful for everyone who has helped keep spirits high and smiles bright.

❤️ If there's one thing we've been reminded of during this outage, it's the strength of our Avalon family.

Our residents have been incredibly resilient, positive, and supportive of one another. We've also been touched by the outpouring of encouragement, calls, visits, and check-ins from family members who care so deeply about their loved ones and our community.

Operations continue smoothly, and together we've turned an unexpected challenge into an opportunity to connect, laugh, and support one another.

We are so proud of our residents and grateful for the families who make this community feel like home.

🤝 Community is about showing up for one another, and we have felt that support in a big way during the current power outage.

A special thank you to our incredible partners at PARC Home Care and Hospice and Premier Hospice and Palliative for their generosity, collaboration, and support. Their willingness to step in and help our residents and team highlights the strength of the relationships that make our community so special.

While the outage continues, our generator is operating well, our residents are comfortable, and spirits remain high.

We're grateful to be surrounded by such caring partners and friends.

Our team has truly stepped up during this outage, ensuring our residents remain safe, comfortable, engaged, and cared for every step of the way. From serving meals and organizing activities to offering extra smiles and reassurance, they continue to demonstrate what makes this community so special.

We're grateful for each team member who has gone above and beyond to support our residents and one another.

Friends and Family - As you all know our power has been out since Wednesday evening due to the storms. We are staying in constant communication with DTE and utilizing our resources. Our generator is working great and we are doing fine. A big thanks to our entire Avalon team for keeping our residents safe, well-cared for and entertained! Thank you to everyone that is working hard around the clock and to the families and friends that are checking in on us. This is our time to shine!
