🎉 Happy Birthday to the woman behind the scenes who made The Corner Spa possible! 🎉

Many of you know her as my Mama. Some know her as “The Big Boss.” 😂 Around here, she’s often referred to as the silent owner—but the truth is, there would be no Corner Spa without her love, support, encouragement, and belief in this dream. ❤️

This spa is more than just a business to our family. It’s a piece of our history.

The beautiful old building that The Corner Spa calls home was passed down to us by my Paw Paw (Donald Wilson)—her dad. He loved this building and took great pride in it. She came home from work one day to see him on a ladder restoring the Coca-Cola mural himself 😳 I often find myself wishing he could walk through the doors today and see what it has become. (We’ll just hide the receipts 😂) Many times during the remodel AND since we have opened we have heard odd little sounds and always joked that it was him checking up on his building. I have no doubt he would be incredibly proud of how it has been restored, loved, and filled with new life while still honoring its history.

Mama, thank you for helping carry on his legacy and for believing in this dream every step of the way. Your support, wisdom, and faith in me have meant more than you’ll ever know.

Today, we celebrate not only your birthday, but the generations of love, hard work, and dedication that helped make The Corner Spa what it is today.

Happy Birthday, Mama. ❤️ We love you, appreciate you, and are so grateful for everything you do.
