After years of planning, construction, collaboration and anticipation, Taylor Glen has officially completed its expansion project, welcoming residents into 50 new homes and transforming the campus with new cottages, a villa apartment building, North Carolina's first Green House home for memory care residents, and beautifully renewed gathering spaces.
This week, we celebrated two team members who helped make that vision a reality: Anne Garrett Diaz, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Baylea Knight, Residency Counselor. Through their dedication, every residence was sold before construction was complete, and each new resident was welcomed into the community with care and attention.
We celebrated them with a surprise movie-premiere-themed party yesterday, put on my the talented Taylor Glen team, with decor and snacks from Lauren Jernigan, Dreama McCree and Brendan Krebs.
Of course, AG and Baylea are quick to point out what everyone at Taylor Glen knows: this was a true team effort. From maintenance and housekeeping to activities, dining, and leadership, countless team members worked together to ensure every move-in felt like coming home.
The greatest measure of success is seeing those newly constructed spaces come alive with new neighbors and friendships that enrich the entire community.
Congratulations to the entire Taylor Glen team on an extraordinary milestone years in the making.
