🚨 PLEASE SHARE — WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY TO SHOW UP. 🚨
Mental health affects every single one of us.
Maybe it’s someone you love living with depression.
Maybe it’s a friend who has contemplated su***de.
Maybe it’s a family member living with bipolar disorder or another mental health condition.
Maybe it’s someone carrying grief, trauma, anxiety, stress, or the weight of violence in our communities.
We have to be willing to talk about it.
On August 21 & 22, NAMI Cabarrus Rowan Stanly is hosting Pathways to Hope: A Community Conference for Mental Health, Awareness and Healing at Grace Lutheran Church in Concord.
💙 This conference is FREE.
💙 It is for EVERYONE.
💙 It will be a safe space for honest conversations.
💙 And we have some amazing speakers and resources coming to our community.
I especially want to encourage conversations about mental health in the Black community, where stigma and barriers to seeking support can keep people suffering in silence. We can help change that.
We can break down walls.
We can reduce stigma.
We can learn how to support one another better.
And we can help build a healthier community — together.
But we need people in the room.
👉 Register today at namicabarrus.org
👉 Then PLEASE share this flyer.
👉 Send it to your church, your family, your friends, your coworkers, your neighbors, and anyone who cares about the health of our community.
