Since 2008, Rachel’s Gift has helped partner hospitals provide specialized care and compassionate support to families experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. Every registration and sponsorship helps support this important work within our local community.

Some stories stay with you forever. 💙

After loss, IVF, a high-risk pregnancy, preeclampsia, a long induction, and an unexpected C-section, Tracy and her family faced a terrifying moment when their son was born not breathing.

Through it all, she remembers the compassion, quick action, and support of her AFA providers and the entire care team at Emerson Hospital.

Today, her miracle baby is almost four years old, happy, energetic, smart, and full of love for animals and people.

Thank you, Tracy, for trusting AFA during such a vulnerable time and for allowing us to share your beautiful story. It is an honor to care for our patients through every joyful, frightening, and life-changing moment.

Today is Alora’s last day with AFA after three wonderful years, and we’re going to miss her so much. 💐

Alora has always gone above and beyond for her patients, especially when helping care for those navigating gestational diabetes. She brought so much warmth and compassion to the office and was always willing to step in and help wherever she was needed.

Before joining AFA, she worked in Labor & Delivery at Emerson Hospital, and now she’ll continue caring for moms and babies through maternal and child home care.

We’ll miss her kindness, her outgoing personality, and of course, the best dance moves at every Christmas party. She truly is the life of the party.

People like Alora are rare,a true diamond and so hard to let go of. She will always have a special place at AFA and will forever be part of the AFA family.
