πŸ’™ Keep Picking Yourself Up, Newcomer πŸ’™

Recovery isn't about how many times you fallβ€”it's about how many times you're willing to get back up.

If you've stumbled, made a mistake, or feel like giving up, keep picking yourself up. Every day you stay, every meeting you attend, every honest conversation you have is another step forward.

Are you looking for something new to do in recovery? Something new and exciting to watch. Here's a unique opportunity to step outside your comfort zone while staying connected to your recovery community.

Join us at the Northeast Watercross Championship with the support of Sober Safe Spot! This is a chance to experience an incredible event where you can be around an environment that may typically feel challenging, while still having a safe, sober space filled with fellowship, encouragement, and support.

And if you've never seen Watercross racing before, you're in for a treat! These aren't jet skis they're actual snowmobiles that have been stripped of some of their winter components and specially modified to race across the water. It's a thrilling spectacle that combines skill, and a little bit of madness in the best possible way.

Whether you're looking for fellowship, adventure, or simply a new experience in recovery, we'd love to have you join us. Come connect with others, enjoy the excitement, and prove that recovery can be fun, adventurous, and full of new experiences.

If you're new to recovery, we want you to know something important:

It gets better. We promise.

Right now, things may feel overwhelming. You may be questioning yourself, wondering if recovery is worth it, or if life will ever feel normal again.

It will.

The sleepless nights get easier.
The cravings become less frequent.
The shame begins to fade.
The relationships start to heal.
The hope returns.

Recovery isn't always easy, but it is worth it.

Sometimes what we need is uncomfortable:
β€’ Going to a meeting when we'd rather stay home.
β€’ Calling someone when we'd rather isolate.
β€’ Taking suggestions instead of giving excuses.
β€’ Being honest when it's easier to hide.

πŸ’™ Stick and Stay πŸ’™

One of the greatest pieces of advice you can hear in early recovery is simple:

"Stick and stay."

Keep showing up.
Keep coming back.
Keep giving yourself a chance.

There will be days when you want to leave, isolate, give up, or do things your way. Recovery teaches us something many of us had to learn the hard way:

πŸ‘‰ If you do what you want to do, you won't get what you need.
πŸ‘‰ But if you do what you need to do, you'll eventually get what you want.
