A Moment of Transparency…

Most people paint the picture of being an entrepreneur as something that’s always rewarding, always profitable, and all about making money. But the truth is, for many of us, it’s rooted in a deep love for what we do—not the love of money.

Most of the time, you’re carrying your business. And when I say carrying, I mean truly carrying it—like a woman pregnant with a child. The few people who support you along the way are like midwives, helping you push, helping you endure, and helping you bring your vision to life.

Here’s the reality: be mindful of people who promise they can “build” your business for you. Because you can have all the structure, branding, and ideas in place—but without customers, you don’t have a business. You have a concept.

Many businesses go through a season of struggle before they become strong enough to stand on their own. That process isn’t pretty, but it’s necessary.

So stay grounded, stay focused, and stay committed to the purpose behind what you’re building. The growth will come—but the foundation has to be real.
