Our Therapeutic Massage sessions are a completely customized mix of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular techniques, as well as stretching, backed by 11 years of experience in the field. For one inclusive and affordable rate, we also offer Cupping Therapy, essential oils, and various topicals to help you find relief. Additionally, we have an incredible, certified therapy dog available to clients who are needing a little extra emotional support and sense of safety during their Massage, CranioSacral, or Reiki session.

involves the usage of a plastic cup, a pump, and a medium such as lotion or oil to create a vacuum. The therapist may leave the cups in one place or move them around the body. What happens is the blood gets pulled to the surface and filters down through the various fibers differently - thus improving and allowing the tissues to and expand. Also, excess heat caused by is given the opportunity to escape through the opened pores of the skin.

And sometimes, yes, the cups do leave marks that resemble a bruise, (a.k.a. a contusion), however, it is important to note the difference - a contusion is caused by an impact to the body, which is the opposite effect of what a vacuum offers. These marks typically disappear within 7-14 days in most clients.

This therapy can be a stand-alone treatment or added to a regular Therapeutic Massage.
