On August 12th, our community was struck by tragedy as historic flooding swept through the area. Thankfully, Majestic Care did not sustain damage, and we did not have to evacuateโbut the waters came dangerously close. Sadly, so many in our community lost everything.
Through it all, our team never stopped providing care to our residents. We showed up. โค๏ธ Our residents continued to receive the love, compassion, and care they deserve, because even in the face of uncertainty, our commitment to them never wavered.
But caring for our community doesnโt stop at the doors of our building.
Today, we begin giving back to the community that has always been there for us. Care packages went out the door this morning to help support families as they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their homes, their lives, and their sense of normalcy.
These packages may be small, but they represent something much bigger: hope, compassion, and a reminder that no one has to face this alone.
We are incredibly grateful for our team members who continue to step up, serve others, and lead with heart. We are grateful for our neighbors, community partners, first responders, volunteers, and everyone who has offered a helping hand during this difficult time.
Our community may have been shaken, but it has not been broken. We will continue to stand together, support one another, and help wherever we can.
We showed up for our residents. Now weโre showing up for our community!
Because when one of us hurts, we all feel it. And when one of us begins to rebuild, we rebuild together. ๐๐
