Being an Owner and Administrator means wearing ALL the hats. ❤️
Some days I'm running the business, managing schedules, supporting my caregivers, meeting with families, and making tough decisions. Other days, I'm the one stepping in and working a shift because a client needs care.
And I'm not the only one willing to step up. This week, our RN also stepped in to work a caregiver shift because we had a client who needed care. That speaks volumes about the kind of team we're building.
Leadership isn't about asking others to do something you're not willing to do yourself.
Is it exhausting? Absolutely. Are there days when I wonder how we're going to get it all done? You bet!
But when a family puts their trust in us to care for someone they love, that's a commitment I take personally.
Sometimes being an owner means putting everything else aside, rolling up your sleeves, and working alongside your team. And sometimes it means watching your own leadership team do exactly the same thing.
I'm incredibly thankful for an RN who understands that caring for our clients goes beyond a job description. It's about compassion, teamwork, and doing what's right when someone needs us.
We're still growing, learning, and navigating the challenges that come with building a home care agency. Not every day is easy, and not everything goes according to plan.
But one thing will never change: our commitment to the people who depend on us.
Our clients matter. Their families matter. And our caregivers matter, too.
At the end of the day, leadership isn't about a title. It's about showing up, leading by example, and never forgetting why we started. 💚
