Owner/therapist, Mark Crowe MEd.,LPC began Summit Counseling, PLLC after working both as a high school counselor for Conroe ISD and a private counselor. Mark has eleven years experience in school counseling and has also been in private practice for over 15 years. With additional experience in child protective services, Mark blends his counseling skills and experience in an effective style which benefits families, adolescents, children and individuals.

Parent encouragement
Earlier this week, one of our kids reached the 21st birthday milestone. I wish I could say they were the first, but I am aware that he is our third to this mark. Time provides perspective and allows us to reflect on what has transpired. It's easy for parents to look back in regret at all the things we didn't do right. We are so quick to see our errors over our successes.
Parenting is hard work. Parenting is HEART work. I think its safe to say that it is the most important role, we have in our lives. Be intentional with your time and your words. Be present. Encourage your children. They have enough on their plate to manage in our world today. And celebrate the wins, victories and successes they have. These are crucial to building their confidence.
"I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered, when you run, you will not stumble" Proverbs 4: 11-12.
