Postpartum care is mental health care. 🤎
After a baby is born, so much attention naturally goes to the baby. But we cannot forget the mama behind the baby.
With everything happening in the world, I keep coming back to one simple thought: we need to show up for postpartum moms.
Check in on her. Bring her a meal. Sit with her. Ask how she is doing. Remind her that she matters, too.
A postpartum mom should never feel so alone, unseen, or dismissed that she believes she has nowhere to turn for help. The more we intentionally see postpartum mothers, check in on them, and create safe spaces for honest conversations, the easier it can be for a mama to say, “I need help.”
That is part of the heart behind the Mamita Postpartum Box. It is more than a gift. It is a tangible way to tell a new mom:
“I see you. I’m thinking about you. You don’t have to mom alone.”
And during the month of August, Mamita Boxes are 15% off when you purchase one for a postpartum mama. Use code POSTPARTUM15. Visit EsperanzaBirth on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1876991075/mamita-box-postpartum-gift-set-with
Your purchase also supports a student midwife and birth doula as she completes her studies and continues preparing to advocate for, care for, and stand beside mothers and babies.
So check on your postpartum mama friends.
See the mama.
Support the mama.
Send her some love. 🤎
Let’s support her after birth, too.
