This morning’s Birth Story Circle was healing, intimate, and deeply meaningful. Each story was held with loving ears, open hearts, and the reassurance that every birth experience is beautiful and worthy of being honored.

Through my time as a doula, I’ve learned that there can be a stigma around birth, that it should look a certain way, sound a certain way, or unfold according to a plan. But birth is rarely about perfection. It’s about surrender, trust, resilience, vulnerability, and an incredible amount of love and strength.

I’m endlessly grateful to be surrounded by women who courageously share these sacred moments, and even more grateful to those who invite me into their journeys. Hearing these stories reminds me that there is no “right” way to give birth only the unique path each mother and baby walk together.

These circles always bring me back to my why. To witness, to support, to hold space, and to remind women that their stories matter.

Be on the lookout for our next Birth Story Circle! My hope is to hold these gatherings quarterly, creating a space where stories can be shared, honored, and celebrated. Thank you to everyone who joined us today! I already look forward to gathering again and seeing both familiar and new faces at the next circle. 💛

✨Hydration Doesn’t Have to Be Complicated ✨

Growing a baby is hard work, and summer heat can make staying hydrated feel like a full-time job. The good news? Hydration can come from more than just your water bottle.

Try adding some of these easy, refreshing options to your day:

🥥 Coconut water ice cubes — freeze and add to your water for a refreshing electrolyte boost.

🍉 Watermelon — over 90% water and perfect for hot afternoons.

🥒 Cucumber salad — cooling, crunchy, and packed with hydration.

🍈 Cantaloupe — a great source of water and potassium.

🍓 Berries — strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries contain plenty of water and make a simple snack.

🍊 Oranges and citrus fruits — naturally hydrating and rich in vitamin C.

🧊 Homemade electrolyte popsicles — blend coconut water and fruit, then freeze.

🍇 Frozen grapes — a refreshing treat that can help cool you down quickly.

🥣 Chia water or chia pudding — chia seeds absorb water and can help support hydration throughout the day.

🍲 Broth-based soups — don’t underestimate warm foods; broth contributes to your fluid intake too.

🥬 Lettuce-rich salads — romaine lettuce and leafy greens contain more water than many people realize.

🍋 Infused water — add lemon, lime, cucumber, mint, berries, or orange slices if plain water feels boring.

✨ Doula Tip: Keep a large water bottle in the places you spend the most time. Sometimes the easiest hydration hack is simply making water impossible to forget.

What’s your favorite pregnancy hydration hack? Drop it below so other mamas can benefit too! 💧

The warmer days have arrived, mamas! ☀️

Here’s your gentle reminder that swimming during pregnancy can feel so good for your body.

Water helps support your growing belly, giving your joints and muscles a break while still allowing you to move, stretch, and build strength.

Why swimming can be so supportive in pregnancy:

• Reduces impact on joints
• Improves circulation
• Builds strength and endurance for labor
• Helps relieve muscle aches and tension
• Supports swelling relief
• Helps regulate body temperature
• Reduces stress and promotes relaxation

A little movement, a little sunshine, and a whole lot of support for your changing body. 💛
