RAPID Neuro Fascial Reset is not tradition massage. It's direct and quick. If you have a specific problem or pain you want me to treat with RAPID I would love to see you on my table soon.

RAPID is a great quick treatment. It can have great results for pain and mobility. You can book with me now. I've had several clients have success with this treatment.

You may have heard me mention that I'm taking some new training. I've taken 48 hours of training in RAPID Neurofascial Reset.

RAPID NFR is neurologically based. This is an evidence-based manual therapy treatment. NFR is active and generally done with clothes on. We pin the muscle while moving and stretching out the muscle, fascia, and nerve. This is going to reset the fascia and the nerve by focusing on the Central Nervous System’s role in decreasing muscle tension and restrictions.

Do I have your attention? I'm offering introductory sessions. 45 Minutes for $50 so I will be able to practice my techniques while give you the opportunity to try the new treatment at a lower cost.

While your session will be booked for 45 minutes, it is imperative that I not just treat to be treating. When I have completed the treatment the session will be over.

I also ask that you wear sport type clothing for your session.

More to come!

Hi Friends, I am now a RAPID Specialist. I earned that title after attending classes in a technique called RAPID. As the name suggests, it is quite fast to deliver. I'm a little slow at the moment, but will be honing my skills over the next few weeks in an attempt to become more efficient and effective.

I attended this class in Halifax, NS. The weather was fabulous. High temp for the week was 71. I met some very interesting people and learned to use the city bus.

This picture is after day 4 of training. My brain was fried, but my heart was ready to help people with pain feel better.

Keep watching for some updates to my schedule to include RAPID treatments and information.

The last two weeks have been BUSY! Thank you to every client I have seen at Massage Conway and the wonderful group of students I have the pleasure of teaching every week at Body Wellness Massage Academy.

I truly enjoy what I do and I'm thankful to have the opportunity to not only pursue my own career, but guide the next Massage Therapists in their education.

One thing you’ll learn about me, Jamie, is that I’m a BIG believer in always learning, growing, and trying something new.

I went to college and became a speech therapist—and I’m still licensed! 😉 Over the years, I’ve worked, volunteered, and jumped into all kinds of adventures.

Then in 2020, I decided to chase a dream of my own and became a Licensed Massage Therapist. 💆‍♀️

And honestly? I’m so glad I did.

Every client I work with teaches me something. Every class I take adds to what I can offer. I’m always looking for ways to learn more and become a better therapist for the people who trust me with their care.

So today, I’m challenging YOU:

Go learn something new!
Take a class. Learn a skill. Start a hobby. Try something you’ve always been curious about.

👇 Tell me in the comments—what’s something new you’d love to learn?

26 years ago today, I was in a class beginning my last year of grad school. Nothing special happened.

25 years ago, I was in week three of my first years teaching at Greenwood Intermediate. I had 2 sweet little boys, Chris and Richard in my class. The principal came over the intercom and told us to turn on the news. History was in the making. Minutes later we watch the 2 plane hit the twin towers. The next word over the intercom was to turn off the tv and resume class.

With my job having a little more flexibility than most teachers, I was able to keep up with the news a little more than some.

As a reminder, cell phones were relatively new and used to make calls. Service was spotty.

Alan Jackson's song "where were you when the world stopped turning" was hauntingly sung a few days later on a stage with a guitar. People remember. I was 23 years old and the world changed forever.

Guess who's taking another continuing education class? I'm excited to get to travel to Nova Scotia for this class. I'm looking forward to learning a new approach to pain relief.
