🖤❤️💚 Happy Juneteenth from Intentional Connections Counseling 💚❤️🖤

Today we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring strength of the African American community.

As we reflect on the significance of this day, we recognize that healing, equity, and access to support are essential parts of building stronger communities. Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of continuing to create spaces where every individual feels seen, valued, and empowered.

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to recognize the unique challenges many men face with mental health, substance use, and recovery. Too often, men are taught to suppress emotions, carry burdens alone, and avoid asking for help. Unfortunately, this can lead to increased rates of depression, anxiety, substance misuse, isolation, and su***de.

At Intentional Connections, we believe that healing begins with connection.

This month, we encourage men to prioritize their mental health, reach out for support, and know that seeking help is a sign of courage. Whether you are struggling, in recovery, supporting a loved one, or simply looking to improve your well-being, you are not alone.

Toad Suck Daze is here, and we’re expecting great weather and large crowds throughout the weekend in downtown Conway.

As you head out to enjoy the festivities, please keep the following in mind:

• Expect heavier traffic in and around downtown. Plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and be patient.
• Follow posted road closures and detours to help keep traffic flowing safely.
• Lock your vehicles and do not leave valuables inside, especially in plain view.
• Be aware of your surroundings in crowded areas and keep a close eye on children.
• If you’re attending with a group, have a meeting spot in case you get separated.

We encourage everyone to check the official Toad Suck Daze schedule for event times and activities so you can plan your visit accordingly at www.toadsuck.org

Our Officers will be out throughout the weekend to help ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.

Let’s work together to keep it a great weekend in Conway and have an amazing Toad Suck Daze weekend!

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind you:✨ Healing is possible✨ Recovery is not linear✨ You are more than your lowest moment.

Addiction and mental health go hand in hand and both deserve compassion, support, and real conversations.

If you’re struggling, you don’t have to face it alone. If you know someone who is, lead with empathy, not assumptions.

At Intentional Connections, we believe in meeting people where they are and walking with them toward healing.

Today is 4/20 — and while many people are celebrating, I want to take a moment to speak to the ones who might be using today to cope.

No judgment here. Just real conversation. 💭

Sometimes what starts as something social or relaxing can turn into something we rely on to get through stress, emotions, or life itself. If you’ve been feeling like you want more control, more clarity, or just healthier ways to cope… you’re not alone.

I work with individuals who are ready to understand their habits, build stronger coping skills, and create a life that feels more stable and intentional — without shame.

Whether it’s stress, substance use, or just feeling overwhelmed, there are better ways to manage it. And I can help you get there.

If today has you thinking “I want better for myself,” take that seriously. That’s your starting point. 💡

📩 Reach out if you’re ready for support, a safe space, and real change.
