Michael Vick Gives Back to Norfolk Students in a Big Way! 🎒👟
Michael Vick, head football coach at Norfolk State University, helped more than 50 students in Norfolk, Virginia, get the school year off to a great start by providing free shoes, socks, and backpacks filled with school supplies.
Children from five public housing communities served by the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority gathered at the Hibbett store at Military Circle to receive their gifts. Each child had the opportunity to sign in, choose new shoes and socks, and pick up a backpack filled with essential school supplies—all at no cost to their families.
Now, that’s what giving back looks like! ❤️
Sometimes, something as simple as a new pair of shoes or a backpack full of supplies can make a world of difference in a child’s confidence and excitement about learning. By helping these students start the school year prepared, Coach Vick is showing that making a positive impact goes far beyond the football field.
What a wonderful way to invest in the next generation! 🙌🏾📚
