Four hours of labor. Natural birth. And this was my baby boy just moments after he entered the world. 🤎

What you may not know about this picture is what happened in the months leading up to it.

Throughout my pregnancy, I received chiropractic adjustments every single week… I committed myself to the same things I ask of my prenatal patients.

I knew pregnancy wasn’t just about growing a baby. My body was preparing for birth, and I wanted to support it through that process.

As the belly grows, the pelvis, spine, muscles and ligaments are constantly adapting. Prenatal chiropractic care can help support pelvic balance, mobility, nervous system function and greater comfort throughout those changes.

And when it was time for my son to arrive?
My labor was four hours.

Every pregnancy and every birth is different, so I don’t tell you my story as a promise of a shorter labor. I tell it because I personally chose chiropractic care as part of preparing my body for the birth experience I wanted.

And years later, I still have the privilege of helping other mothers prepare their bodies, too. 🦋

At Abode Family Wellness, prenatal care is one of the parts of chiropractic that is especially close to my heart. I am Webster Technique Certified and provide gentle chiropractic care specifically adapted for pregnancy.

Your energy is more than something you carry. It is something you cultivate.

Here are 5 simple ways to flow through allergy season with more ease:

💧 1. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate
Water helps thin mucus and keeps your system moving instead of stagnating.

👃🏽 2. Rinse your nasal passages
A quick saline rinse can help clear pollen before it settles in and causes irritation. We also carry several rinses in office and have a discounted online dispensary! Anyone can sign up… message us for our link!
