I'M ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY!

Recovery isn't about how fast you get there. It's about taking the next step, trusting God through the process, and refusing to give up!

Some days the road is smooth. Other days it's filled with unexpected turns, setbacks, and challenges. But every step forward matters, even the small ones.

At Celebrate Recovery, we believe that healing is a journey, not a destination. Through Jesus Christ, we can find hope, healing, and freedom from life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to take the next step.

And remember, you don't have to travel this road alone. Your Forever Family is here to walk alongside you!

Let's hear from you! Where are you on your recovery journey? Just getting started, finding your footing, or celebrating years of recovery?

No matter where you are on the road, KEEP GOING! God isn't finished with your story!

YOUR PRAYER LIFE DOESN’T HAVE TO BE PERFECT TO BE POWERFUL!

“Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice.”
Psalm 130:1-2

Sometimes our deepest prayers come from our lowest places.

Psalm 130 reminds us that we can cry out to God from the depths… from fear, hurt, regret, temptation, loneliness, or uncertainty.

Prayer isn’t about having the right words.

It’s about staying connected to the One who hears us.

A strong prayer life doesn’t mean we never struggle. It means we’ve learned where to take our struggles.

We pray.
We wait.
We trust.
We put our hope in the Lord.

Don’t wait until you’re in the depths to build a prayer life.

Talk to Him today. ❤️

Within Celebrate Recovery we have time for open share. However, to keep groups safe we have 5 guidelines for the sharing.

“Guideline 3: We are here to support one another, not “fix” one another. This keeps us focused on our own issues.

We do not give advice or solve someone’s problem in our time of sharing or offer book referrals or counselor referrals!

We are not licensed counselors, psychologists, or therapists, nor are the group members. Celebrate Recovery groups are not designed for this. It is up to the participants to include outside counseling to their program when they’re ready.”

By not fixing, we allow others to connect with Jesus Christ as their fixer and we keep our sharing on our own recovery.

RECOVERY IS REAL.
HOPE IS REAL.
FREEDOM IS REAL.

Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to get honest about the hurts, hang-ups, and habits holding you back.

You don’t have to hide.
You don’t have to pretend.
You don’t have to do recovery alone.

Come as you are and find a Forever Family that will walk alongside you as Jesus Christ leads the way toward hope, healing, and freedom.

Your past doesn’t get the final word.
Your struggle doesn’t define your future.
Keep showing up. Keep taking the next step.

Did you know serving others can become part of your own healing?

We often think serving is only about what we can do for someone else.

But God has a way of using service to change us, too.

Serving gets us outside of ourselves.
It gives purpose to what we’ve walked through.
It reminds us that we still have something to give.

Sometimes the very place where you once struggled becomes the place God uses you to help someone else.

You don’t have to have it all together to serve.

You just have to be willing to say…

“God, use me.”

At Celebrate Recovery, you don’t have to walk through life alone.

One of the greatest gifts of recovery is finding a community of people who understand that we all have hurts, hang-ups, and habits, and that we all need grace, encouragement, and support along the way.

We call it our Forever Family.

A Forever Family celebrates the victories with you, stands beside you through the difficult seasons, encourages you when you feel like giving up, and continually points you back to Jesus.

No matter where you are in your recovery journey, whether today is Day 1 or you’ve been walking in recovery for years, there’s a place for you at Celebrate Recovery.

You belong. You are welcome. You are part of a community.

Find a Celebrate Recovery near you and experience what it means to be part of a Forever Family.

Did you know taking a daily inventory can keep small things from becoming big things?

STEP 10
We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

Recovery isn’t just about dealing with our past… it’s about paying attention to how we’re living today.

Step 10 teaches us to pause and ask:

Where was I wrong?
Did I hurt someone?
Am I holding onto resentment?
Is there something I need to make right?

We don’t have to wait until things pile up.

We can recognize it.
Own our part.
Make it right.
And keep moving forward.

Progress doesn’t mean we never get it wrong… it means we’re learning to recognize it sooner.

💬 What has Step 10 taught you about yourself?

October is here, and it’s a great reminder that recovery is built one choice, one step, and one day at a time.

At Celebrate Recovery, we can stay OPEN to God’s grace, CHOOSE honesty, TURN from old patterns, OFFER encouragement, BELIEVE healing is possible through Jesus, EMBRACE community, and REMEMBER that we never have to walk this journey alone.

As we move through this month, which word in this October acrostic speaks to you the most right now?

Drop your word in the comments and tell us why.

Anxiety can make us feel like we have to carry everything on our own, but God never asked us to.

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7

At Celebrate Recovery, we learn that surrender isn’t weakness. It’s choosing to trust God with the things that are too heavy for us to carry alone.

Whatever is weighing on your heart today fear, uncertainty, stress, hurt, or a struggle you haven’t told anyone about you can bring it to Jesus. He cares about you, and you don’t have to walk through it alone.

🙏 Prayer:
Jesus, help me release the things I’ve been trying to control and carry on my own. When anxiety begins to take over, remind me that You care for me and that I can place every worry into Your hands. Give me Your peace and strength for today. Amen.
