✂️ We're Looking for a Licensed Cosmetologist!
Cook Hospital & Care Center is seeking a licensed cosmetologist to provide haircuts and occasional perms for our Care Center residents.

This is an as-needed opportunity, with scheduling that can be flexible. Helping our residents look and feel their best makes a meaningful difference in their confidence and quality of life.

Cooking classes are all the rage ... and our Care Center residents got to enjoy one of their own, with Chef Dan who stopped in for a cooking demonstration.

The lesson (and food tasting that followed!) was enjoyable for all.

Happy 4th of July to all!

The 4th of July came early for residents at the Care Center - and what a great event it was.

Staff members from all departments (can you spot the CEO!?) outdid themselves coming up with unique floats for a parade through the Care Center. There was a surplus of candy, laughter, and overall festivity.

We wrapped up the parade with a social event and enjoyed some snow cones together.

There was something really special about seeing the staff stop their floats to greet each resident by name, trading jokes, and ensuring that each person at the Care Center had the special day they deserved.

Miss Minnesota stopped by for a visit at the Care Center this afternoon. We enjoyed learning about her story and experiences, from teaching art at North Woods School to journeying through the world of pageantry.

Attending residents were also able to get personal photos to remember this fun afternoon.

We had a wonderful time today, celebrating our incredible volunteers at the Cook Hospital & Care Center Volunteer Luncheon.

Our volunteers generously share their time and talents in so many meaningful ways—helping in the beauty shop, visiting with residents, accompanying residents on outings, and providing a warm welcome and assistance to patients and visitors throughout the hospital.

Their kindness, compassion, and dedication help make The Cook Hospital & Care Center a more caring and connected place for everyone. Whether they're offering a friendly conversation, lending a helping hand, or simply being present, their impact is felt every day.

Thank you to each of our volunteers for the difference you make in the lives of our residents, patients, families, staff, and community. We are truly grateful for all that you do!

🏍️ Revving Up Joy at Cook Care Center! 🏍️

The Northwood Riders rolled into Cook Care Center, bringing smiles, stories, and some serious horsepower! Our residents loved checking out the bikes and chatting with the riders—nothing like the rumble of an engine to spark some lively conversations.

A huge thank you to the Northwood Riders for brightening our day and sharing your passion.
