So glad you’re starting to feel better!!!!! 👏
Posted • Huge shout out to Mary for fixing me up. Apparently I tweaked my tib/fib joint spending a substantial amount of time in a squatting position at the finish line of our annual XC invite Saturday. By Saturday night I could not put pressure on it, was going up and down the stairs on my butt and not in the best place mentally. Despite my best efforts to adjust it myself by foam rolling and ice it just would not give. By 3am I was considering driving myself to the ER but knew they would probably just give me crutches and a brace and tell me to see an ortho Tuesday (because of course I always break myself outside 'normal business hours). Despite it being a Sunday and a holiday weekend to boot, Mary made time to work on the muscles around the joint and give me a stability taping. Throughout the day Sunday I got some pops and cracks and was able to regain mobility. Managed a 3.1 mile easy walk today and I'd say I'm about 99% back. Going to hold off on any running or jumping until I can have my PT take a look Wednesday but at least I'm in a much better mental state today than I was 36 hours ago. Moral of the story... don't spend too much time squatting...
