💧 Keep it simple: Standard H2O or berry-infused water and regular snacks provide all the hydration kids need for daily play.

🚫 Skip the extras: Sports drinks add unnecessary sugar and sodium that developing bodies don't require.

⏱️ Save for later: Per children’s health guidelines, sports drinks are best reserved for intense, vigorous activity lasting over an hour.

🥼 Dr. Jennifer Navarro recently joined KIDZ Medical’s pediatric endocrinology team, bringing specialized training in diagnosing and managing endocrine conditions affecting children and adolescents. Her clinical work includes caring for patients with growth concerns, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and diabetes.

🔵 Dr. Navarro completed her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, followed by fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System. She is board‑certified in both general pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology through the American Board of Pediatrics.

🟢 In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Navarro has been actively involved in medical education, leading teaching sessions for residents and trainees on diabetes, adrenal disorders, and other endocrine topics.

🎉 We're excited to welcome Michael Elias, MD, to our KIDZ Medical neonatology team.

💙🧡 Dr. Elias joins us from UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, where he completed his neonatal‑perinatal medicine fellowship. He also brings strong residency training from Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, a passion for teaching, and a deep commitment to our South Florida community.

We’re thrilled to have Dr. Elias caring for some of our tiniest patients, and supporting their families every step of the way. 👶
