Reminder that postnatal pilates is also a great way of reducing tenderness, strengthening pelvic floor muscles and improving diastasis recti and posture after childbirth. Childcare can also add a lot of stress to the body; strengthening the upper and lower body can ease some of the physical demand that comes with a newborn i.e carrying car seats and straining back muscles.
