Today, we’re spotlighting Valentina, Mammography Tech at Baptist Health Diagnostic Imaging Palmetto Bay. Take a moment to learn what inspires her in her role at Baptist Health.

"What motivates me to be part of Baptist Health is knowing that the work I do truly makes a difference in people’s lives. As a mammography technologist, I get to be part of early detection, which can be life changing for our patients. I also get to support them during a time that can feel stressful or uncertain, and helping them feel more comfortable and at ease really matters to me.

I’ve been with Baptist Health for several years, and being able to grow within the organization has meant a lot to me. It’s motivating to work somewhere that not only supports your professional development, but also truly prioritizes patient care and experience. Along the way, I’ve built meaningful connections with both my coworkers and patients, which has made my experience here even more rewarding.

I also really value the environment here. There is a strong sense of teamwork, and everyone works together to make sure patients receive safe, accurate, and high-quality care. That balance of precision and compassion is what stands out to me most. Being part of a team that shares those values motivates me to keep improving every day and to give my best to every patient who walks through the door." - Valentina, Mammography Tech

Today, we’re spotlighting Marissa, Imaging Supervisor at Baptist Miami Beach Diagnostic Center. Read below as she shares what motivates her to be part of the Baptist Health team.

"In healthcare leadership, finding a role that is both professionally fulfilling and personally meaningful is something truly special. As an Imaging Supervisor at Baptist Miami Beach Diagnostic, I’ve had the opportunity to experience exactly that.

Being part of a fast-growing organization means that every day brings new challenges—but more importantly, new opportunities to make an impact. What I value most in my role is the ability to remove roadblocks for my team and empower them to succeed. When leaders focus on supporting their people, it creates an environment where excellence can thrive.

For me, leadership is not just about operations—it’s about people. When our team feels supported, engaged, and valued, that energy carries over into the patient experience. There’s a direct connection between employee satisfaction and the quality of care we provide. Happy, empowered employees deliver exceptional, compassionate care—and that’s what it’s all about.

One of the things that makes our location unique is that, while we are physically on Miami Beach and somewhat removed from other sites, we are never disconnected. We are part of a larger culture that emphasizes collaboration, unity, and shared purpose. Across locations, we work together seamlessly to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.

The workplace environment is one where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. Strong relationships among team members create a supportive and uplifting atmosphere, making daily responsibilities more meaningful. This culture of positivity is not only beneficial for employees but also translates directly into the quality of care provided to patients. When employees feel valued and happy, that energy is reflected in compassionate, patient-centered service.

I feel fortunate to be part of an organization that not only prioritizes patient care but also invests deeply in its people. Being an Imaging Supervisor here isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to lead, grow, and make a meaningful difference every single day." - Marissa, Imaging Supervisor
