June 9, 1985. I walked across that stage and traded my gown for a white clinic jacket.
I had no idea what the next 41 years would look like.
I was an 11-year-old French boy who immigrated to this country in 1969 with a dream and a whole lot of nerve. Nobody told me I'd one day be taking care of over 6,000 professional athletes, Olympic champions, celebrities, and dignitaries from 123 countries around the world.
If you had told me that at graduation… I would have told you that you were absolutely out of your mind. 😄
But here's what I've learned in 41 years of practice:
The vision doesn't always come first. You grow into it.
And what a journey it's been.
When I started, the only options for a patient in pain were medication, injections, physical therapy, or surgery. That was it. No exceptions. No alternatives.
Then in the mid-1990s, spinal decompression arrived — and like every great idea, it was ridiculed first.
"That can't work." "It's baloney." "There's no proof."
41 years later, I can tell you exactly what it's done:
It's helped thousands of patients avoid surgery. Get off medication. Skip the injections. And get their lives back.
How? Because it does something no other technology can do — it actually helps the disc heal.
Think of a wilting garden. You stop watering it, stop feeding it, cut off the light — and it slowly dies. But start giving it what it needs? It comes back to life. That's exactly what spinal decompression does for a damaged disc. It puts water back in. It restores nutrition. It brings blood supply back. And it removes the waste that's been suffocating it.
No scalpel. No drugs. No injections.
Just the body doing what it was designed to do — when you finally give it the right environment to heal.
I've written 19 books on this. I helped write what the profession considers the Bible of spinal decompression. I was the first certified National Decompression Physician in the country.
Not to brag — but to tell you this:
If you're in pain right now, and someone has told you that surgery is your only option… please don't believe that without a second opinion.
There IS another way. I've spent 41 years proving it.
And the journey? It's still just beginning.
🎓 June 9, 2026 — 41 years later. Still grateful. Still going.
