Rest isn’t something you earn after you’ve exhausted yourself.

Take the bath. Cancel the thing. Sit in the sun. Order dessert. Go to bed early. Do something that feels good before you desperately need it.

What could you accomplish with more time to focus on your relationship?

Couples intensives offer 2+ hours of dedicated therapy to move beyond surface-level arguments and work more deeply on communication, trust, intimacy, recurring conflict, and important relationship decisions.

Sometimes 50 minutes simply isn't enough. ❤️

Explore what focused, extended couples therapy can make room for below.

If you’re new here, meet Lana. She’s our resident provocateur, pleasure enthusiast, and occasional reminder that there are far more interesting things to be than appropriate. She believes kink belongs at the dinner table, self-care can be deliciously selfish, and you should never have to make yourself easier to digest. She disappeared for a while—traveling the world, collecting passport stamps, beautiful rooms, questionable decisions, long lunches, late checkouts, and stories she has no intention of explaining.

“I needed some time away. Preferably somewhere with room service.” — Lana

Now she’s back. A little more indulgent, considerably less available, and still convinced that pleasure is a perfectly legitimate way to take care of yourself. Her latest lessons: order the champagne. Buy yourself the flowers. Take the afternoon. Close the curtains. Let the phone die. Stay for dessert or leave without saying goodbye. There are enough things in life that require discipline. Your relationship with yourself doesn’t always have to be one of them. Welcome back to MY KINK IS. 🖤

The kids are back in school. So… how are YOU doing? 🎒

Summer has a funny way of becoming one long exercise in keeping everyone alive, entertained, fed, transported, and vaguely on schedule.

And then school starts.

Suddenly, there's a little more structure, and maybe enough breathing room to realize you've been putting yourself on the back burner.

Maybe you've been meaning to deal with your anxiety.
Maybe you and your partner haven't felt connected in months.
Maybe your s*x life has basically disappeared.
Maybe you're exhausted from taking care of everyone else.
Or maybe you just don't feel quite like yourself lately.

Back-to-school season doesn't only have to be a reset for the kids.

It can be a reset for you, too. ❤️

If therapy has been sitting on your mental to-do list, this might be a good time to finally make space for it.

What the Bridgerton Mirror Scene Gets Right About Body Image ❤️

One of the most talked-about moments in Bridgerton wasn't just romantic, it highlighted something we see often in therapy: the fear of being truly seen.

Many people struggle to be fully present during intimacy because they're focused on how their body looks instead of how they feel. When self-consciousness takes over, it can make it difficult to relax, connect with a partner, and experience pleasure.

Healing your relationship with your body isn't about loving every inch of yourself every day. Sometimes it's about learning to quiet your inner critic long enough to let yourself be seen, accepted, and connected.

If body image has been affecting your confidence or your relationships, therapy can help.

What an Identity-Affirming Therapist Is (and Isn't)

The term "identity-affirming" has become increasingly common in mental health, but what does it actually mean? At its best, identity-affirming therapy isn't about making assumptions or pushing an agenda. It's about creating a space where every part of who you are is met with respect, curiosity, and compassion.

An identity-affirming therapist is...

Curious, not assumptive.

Culturally humble, not "colorblind."

A therapist who recognizes that your identities shape your lived experience.

Someone who respects your autonomy, values, and right to define yourself.

Willing to examine and challenge systems that contribute to shame, discrimination, and oppression.

Committed to creating a space where you don't have to edit yourself to feel safe.

An identity-affirming therapist isn't...

Someone who assumes every problem is caused by your identity.

Someone who tells you who you are or how you should identify.

Someone who avoids difficult conversations out of fear of "saying the wrong thing."

Someone who judges your relationships, s*xuality, or way of living.

Someone who expects you to educate them about your experiences.

At its core...

Identity-affirming therapy means you deserve care where every part of who you are is welcomed, not merely tolerated.

Because healing happens when you can show up as your whole self.

When you lead a team of actual dolls… (a.k.a. incredibly talented women who somehow manage to be both fierce and adorable)🩷

What do you do?

Spend the weekend on ChatGPT turning them into therapy dolls. 😂

Disclosure: I had way too much fun making these.
