𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲...

After serving patients at Midwest Physical Therapy for more than 25 years we have decided to join the team at Performance Therapies in Coralville. This change will take place on July 1.

We are honored to join Performance Therapies where we will continue to provide excellent individualized, hands-on care for our patients. Jim and Katherine will continue to see patients at our current office until June 30. After that, we will treat patients at the Performance Therapies location in Coralville.

Please continue to call our office to schedule appointments through June 30. Please call Performance Therapies at 319-665-2630 to schedule appointments after June 30. We are working on moving all current appointments over to the new location.

Performance Therapies is located at 3290 Ridgeway Drive in Coralville.

We look forward to continuing to be your physical therapy provider.

We celebrated our 25th year in business with a gathering at Cedar Ridge Winery. As we look back on the last 25 years we feel overwhelmingly grateful for our patients, for our community, and for our unbelievable team who has become family. Thank you for letting us do what we love.

We are celebrating 25 years in business!! 🥳 🎉

25 years ago today we opened our first practice on Holiday Road in Coralville. In 2001 we moved to our current location and expanded that space in 2007. Thank you to our patients, our friends, and our community for your support over the last 25 years!

Midwest Physical Therapy is the area's most experienced dry needling provider. When dry needling is used in conjunction with our manual therapy techniques we are able to successfully resolve a variety of musculoskeletal problems.

Manual therapy is the skilled and precise application of force to joints and soft tissue, specifically designed to correct abnormalities found during an evaluation.

If you've tried physical therapy before but haven't experienced any relief from your pain give us a call. Manual therapy may be more successful for you.

We would like to introduce you to another student employee.

Sean is from Johnsburg, Illinois which is northwest of Chicago. Johnsburg is surrounded by cornfields and is also the hometown of former Iowa Hawkeye football player, C.J. Fiedorowicz. Sean would frequently run into C.J. and Green Bay Packer Robert Tonyan at the local gym. Sean is pursuing a double major in Health & Human Physiology (Exercise Science) and Psychology. Following undergrad, he plans to pursue PT School with the goal of becoming a physical therapist. Sean enjoys the people he works with at Midwest PT and appreciates the technical and communication skills he is learning. Sean’s family describes him as kind, genuine, and hardworking. In his free time, Sean enjoys thrifting, spending time with friends and family, reading, and finding new music to listen to. Sean operates a small resale business and sells the items that he thrifts. He listens to a lot of different genres but some of his favorite musical artists are Shinedown, Motley Crue, Rush, and Luke Combs.
