🎉✨Today brought about some wonderful ‘firsts!’ The first day in the pool in 60 years for Butch, a long-time resident, as he joined water walking class for a low-impact, joint-friendly workout. 🏊
🤩👏 Today was also the first day up and walking without the wheelchair for Kay, after a surgery brought her for a respite stay at our community, where she could recover, enjoy the amenities and work with our in-house FOX therapy partners.
Both were very monumental moments for these individuals and we are so honored to be a part of their continued Wellness journey!

Our residents are getting their kicks on Route 66! 👟🛣️

Beginning September 1, residents across Grace Management communities will take part in our Route 66 Walking Challenge—a friendly competition that turns movement into a 2,448-mile journey from Chicago to Santa Monica.

From daily walks and community strolls to water aerobics, fitness classes, and more, residents can turn all kinds of movement into steps as their communities work their way toward each Route 66 milestone. It’s about more than counting steps. It’s about staying active, having fun, building connections, and enjoying a little friendly competition along the way!

We can’t wait to see where the journey takes our communities. Follow along as our residents get moving, reach milestones, and make their way down Route 66!

We were having a sun-sational day from start to finish! Residents crafted cheerful sunshine door hangers, soaked up some rays on the patio while exercising and relaxing at happy hour, and a few even took a nature walk to brighten their day. 🌻
