Her concern was the volume loss in the corners of her mouth, but what Danka | Facial Refinement assessed was a bit more involved. The patient began to see not only volume loss in her lip and lack of perioral support, but also the depletion of volume in her mental(chin) shadow, pre-jowl sulcus, oral commissures, and chin itself.

This result wasn’t about adding volume for the sake of fullness. It was about bringing back structure and support in areas that lacked it, and then adjustment in the lights and shadows to create a cohesive and rejuvenated look. Every result is driven by the assessment and identification of the cause. If only the lips were addressed, her result would be INCOMPLETE and overall, UNDERWHELMING. That is why we advise on treating areas together.

She was ecstatic with her results! Not only does her lip look plumper and defined, but also the areas around her lip and chin shadows look more supported, rehydrated, and smooth. This type of result requires restraint, and knowing when to stop. Anyone can hold a brush(syringe), but the artwork(result) will vary based on the eye, experience, and knowing how to correct the area using the appropriate product(not a one size fits all mentality).

August 6th at Beauty Haven and what a day it was!

We hosted an injector training in our new space and the energy from start to finish was exactly what we hoped it would be. Two incredible models who trusted us completely, a room full of providers who are passionate about this craft, and a full day of the kind of collaborative, hands-on learning that makes everyone in the room better.

Every technique discussed. Every placement intentional. Every result held to the exact same standard we bring to every single patient appointment, because a training environment doesn’t lower our bar. It raises it.

Chin tox doesn’t get talked about nearly enough and it should. 💉

This is the next installment of our Who’s A Good Candidate series, where we break down exactly who benefits from specific treatments and who needs a different conversation entirely.

The mentalis muscle sits at the chin and when it’s overactive it creates dimpling, cobblestone texture, and a chin that looks constantly tense or puckered even at rest. A few precise units of tox relaxes it completely. The surface smooths out. The chin stops fighting against itself. And if chin filler is part of the plan, which it often is the filler sits exactly where it’s placed without a muscle constantly working against it.

This is what a full lower face and under-eye reset looks like when every treatment has a purpose. 💉

This wasn’t a single focus appointment. It was a complete, intentional plan every treatment chosen because of what it contributes to the whole picture and how it makes everything around it perform better.

EZ Gel under the eyes first. Platelet rich fibrin harvested from the patient’s own blood placed in the tear trough to restore volume, brighten the hollowing, and stimulate the tissue from within.
