🎶☀️ More Summer Concert Fun! Join Us August 18 for Our Next Community Concert! ☀️🎶

We're still smiling from our last Summer Concert Series performance with the Connor McRae Trio and couldn't resist sharing a few more photos from this wonderful evening! From great music to great weather, it was the perfect way to enjoy a summer night together. We also wanted to give a special thank you to Home Instead for sponsoring our lemonade bar for the evening.

However, the fun isn't over yet! Join us for our next Summer Concert featuring Coloring Shadows on August 18th.

Best of all, 100% of the proceeds raised will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association, supporting research, advocacy, and care for those affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Our Memory Care residents had a wonderful time during a special Chair Zumba class led by our HHAs, Olivia and Lauren! Thank you to Mollie, our Pastoral Care & Volunteer Coordinator, along with staff and family members who joined in the fun. It was an afternoon filled with movement, smiles, laughter, and connection.

Our Memory Care residents enjoyed a creative afternoon making colorful paper flowers and using them to decorate their shadow boxes. 🌷✨

Each resident added their own personal touch, transforming simple materials into beautiful displays full of color and creativity. Activities like these encourage self-expression, spark conversation, and create opportunities for residents to enjoy the satisfaction of making something uniquely their own.

We love seeing our residents' artistic talents shine and watching their creations bring a little extra beauty to our community! 💐

We were so happy to be part of this incredible community event, representing Saint Therese and connecting with so many wonderful neighbors, families, and local organizations.

Thank you to Marge Beard, District Commissioner for Three Rivers Park District, for visiting with our Independent and Assisted Living residents and providing an informative presentation about the parks, programs, and services available throughout our community.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Goddard School for creating and donating beautiful Sunshine Bags for our Memory Care and Assisted Living residents!

A special thank you to Cooper, a Goddard School alum, and his sister Piper, a current student, for personally delivering the bags and spreading so much joy throughout our community. Their kindness, along with the thoughtfulness of the Goddard School students and staff, brought many smiles to our residents' faces.

Our Independent and Assisted Living residents put on their aprons and got baking! Guided by resident Linda Welveart, the group whipped up homemade Thin Mint cookies that were just as fun to make as they were to eat. What a fun surprise! Our residents recently enjoyed a special donut party complete with delicious Krispy Kreme donuts and festive hats. There was plenty of laughter, sweet treats, and joyful moments shared throughout the celebration. 🍩❤️

✨ New Technology, Endless Engagement in Memory Care ✨

Our Memory Care residents have been having a wonderful time exploring our new Lucynt Table, an interactive engagement table designed to provide meaningful experiences for individuals at all stages of dementia. From stimulating games and sensory activities to opportunities for social connection and cognitive engagement, the table offers something for everyone to enjoy. 💙

The smiles, laughter, and participation we've already seen have been incredible, and we're excited to continue incorporating this innovative technology into our daily programming.

A special thank you to the Saint Therese Foundation and the generous individual donors whose support made this possible. Your kindness and commitment to enriching the lives of our residents have brought a valuable new resource to our community, and we are so grateful for your generosity.
