From driving new strategic initiatives to keeping everyday operations running smoothly behind the scenes, our Project Management team is essential to CareConnect's growth and success!

Led by our Project Manager, this versatile team bridges gaps across the organization—touching everything from recruitment and marketing to onboarding and provider support.

The team manages core operations across key functional areas: leading strategic initiatives (PCMH certification, website, and cross-departmental projects); driving marketing and recruitment via social media, events, and candidate sourcing; coordinating multi-phase clinical and front-office onboarding alongside file audits; and directing provider protocols, student rotations, credentialing, and physician meetings.

Our HR team plays an important role in helping ensure our employees have the information and support they need. From making sure everyone gets paid accurately by verifying payroll time and managing time-off requests, to keeping employee files organized and updated, they keep our administrative foundation strong. On top of that, they handle the re-credentialing process for our clinical support staff and serve as a constant source of guidance for all CareConnect policies and procedures. Whether they are fixing a timecard, answering policy questions, or supporting our team through every step of their career, their dedication keeps our health centers running smoothly. Help us celebrate Kari Jones, Office Manager/Medical Assistant at New Hope Clinic in Americus & Cordele, on 5 years with CareConnect! Kari loves working in behavioral health and helping people feel heard and supported. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing patients come to New Hope and make it a place where they feel safe and comfortable.

Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with her children, tackling escape rooms, and taking spontaneous road trips!

Behind the scenes, our Credentialing team performs the essential work that keeps our providers ready to deliver exceptional care from day one! 🩺✨

If you’ve ever wondered what credentialing entails, they serve as our healthcare team's ultimate support system. They manage the complex background approvals, insurance network enrollments, and onboarding paperwork required before a provider ever steps foot on the clinic floor.

Beyond onboarding, they continuously manage critical compliance tracking for current providers—ensuring medical licenses, DEA registrations, BLS certifications, and other credentials remain fully up to date.

Without their sharp eye on deadlines and seamless coordination, our clinics couldn’t stay open or compliant. We are so proud to highlight them in our series! Thank you for your hard work and dedication! 💙

Behind the scenes you can find Brittany Teasdale and Meloney Fortson- Our two-person centralized Medical Records Team that keeps everything moving! Every day, this hardworking duo tackles an average of 40 to 45 records—handling requests from our patients, other doctor’s offices, attorneys, and everyone in between. They work quickly to make sure the right paperwork gets where it needs to go safely and on time, taking huge stress off our clinics.
