🚨 Back Pain Myth Busters with Michael! 🚨

If you’ve ever dealt with back pain, you’ve probably heard advice like:
❓ “Just rest until it goes away.”
❓ “Surgery is the only option for chronic back pain.”

But how much of that is actually true?

In this video, Michael breaks down two of the most common questions we hear in the clinic and shares what a physical therapist wants you to know. The right approach to back pain often involves more movement, education, and personalized treatment than people realize.

Don’t let myths keep you from getting the help you need. Understanding your options is the first step toward feeling better and getting back to the activities you love.

💬 Have a question about back pain? Drop it in the comments below and Michael may answer it in a future video!

📲 Save this post for later and share it with someone who could use a little back pain clarity today.

✨ Consistency has no age limit. ✨

Meet Trudy — a longtime patient and fitness member whose dedication to staying active continues to inspire us every day.

Through hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to her health, Trudy has achieved incredible physical improvements, including decreased body fat, increased muscle mass, and greater overall strength. But her story is about so much more than numbers.

It’s about choosing movement, embracing healthy habits, and proving that it’s never too late to invest in yourself.

As she continues thriving in this season of life, Trudy reminds us that aging doesn’t mean slowing down—it means finding new ways to stay strong, capable, and engaged in the activities you love.

We’re so proud of all you’ve accomplished, Trudy, and grateful to be part of your journey. 💙

If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to prioritize your health, let Trudy’s story be your reminder: small, consistent steps can lead to extraordinary results.

🌅 Waking up stiff every morning? Your body might just need a better “good morning.”

💡 — Stiff in the Morning? Try This First

Before you jump out of bed or head straight for the coffee maker ☕👇

Try these gentle wake-up movements:
✅ Knee hugs
✅ Gentle trunk twists
✅ Shoulder rolls
✅ Ankle pumps
✅ A short walk around the house

After hours of sleeping, your joints and muscles often just need a little movement to loosen up and get circulation flowing.

The goal isn’t to move fast — it’s to move gently and consistently. 🙌

✨ Bonus tip: Even 2–3 minutes can make a difference in how your body feels the rest of the day.

👇 Do you wake up more stiff, sore, or energized in the mornings? Tell us in the comments!

What if recovery isn’t something you do when you’re finished moving… but an essential part of moving well?

“Movement should support your life—not punish your body.”

🚶‍♂️ MOBILITY vs FLEXIBILITY 🤸‍♀️
They’re NOT the same thing… and knowing the difference could change how you move 👀

➡️ FLEXIBILITY = how far a muscle can stretch
➡️ MOBILITY = how well you can actively control movement through a range of motion

Think of it this way:

🪢 Flexibility is being able to touch your toes.
💪 Mobility is being able to squat down, stand back up, and move with control.

You can be flexible without being mobile… and that’s often where pain, stiffness, or instability can show up.

Here’s why mobility matters 👇

✔️ Better balance
✔️ Improved posture
✔️ Easier daily movement
✔️ Reduced injury risk
✔️ More strength + control

And the good news?
Mobility can improve at ANY age with intentional movement and consistency.

✨ Simple ways to improve mobility:
• Walk regularly
• Strength train
• Practice controlled stretching
• Move your joints through full ranges of motion
• Take movement breaks throughout the day

Your body was designed to move well—not just move far.

📩 Feeling stiff, limited, or unsure where to start? Our team would love to help you move with more confidence and less pain.

👇 Which do you think you need more of right now: mobility or flexibility?

A friendly reminder for anyone who’s feeling hesitant about trusting their body again.

After pain or injury, it’s easy to question every movement. To wonder, “What if it hurts again?”

But here’s the truth—trust isn’t gone forever. It just needs to be rebuilt.

With the right guidance, the right pace, and the right support, your body can feel strong and reliable again.

You don’t have to rush it. You just have to start.

💛 If this resonates, save this for a reminder on tough days—and comment “READY” if you’re working on trusting your body again.
