After completing advanced fellowship training at the prestigious Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital in New York City, Dr. Thang will join Magnolia Heart & Lung Clinic, expanding access to highly specialized cardiovascular care right here at home.

Her expertise in complex coronary interventions and plaque modification brings advanced heart care closer to patients across our region.

We’re proud to announce that MRHC and our Non-Invasive Cardiology Department were recognized as one of only five hospitals in Mississippi to receive Milestone Status for maintaining IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) Accreditation in both Vascular and Echocardiography Laboratories.

This achievement marks our 21st consecutive year of IAC accreditation and reflects our continued commitment to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care and quality outcomes for our patients.

This month, Magnolia Regional Health Center is proud to recognize Dr. Ryder Costa, one of our outstanding Internal Medicine residents! 👏

Dr. Costa joined MRHC as a resident in 2023 and has made a lasting impact through his dedication, compassion, and leadership. Originally from California, he attended medical school in Alabama before bringing his talents to our residency program here at MRHC.

Over the past several years, Dr. Costa has become known for his strong work ethic, exceptional patient care, and willingness to lead and support fellow residents. His commitment to excellence has helped make a difference for both patients and colleagues alike.

As he prepares to graduate next month, we are excited to share that Dr. Costa will continue serving our community by working part-time at MRHC! We are grateful to have him remain a part of the Magnolia family. 💚
